Danielle and James’s wedding … where do I begin? Might as well let you know up front that this post is brought to you by the words awesome, beautiful, incredible and heartwarming. Oh, and a lot of happy dancing and “ugly faces!” It was a beautiful day for a wedding. The temperature was comfortable. The sky was blue and speckled with white clouds and no rain in sight. Both families were all hands on deck when it came to the flawless execution of Danielle and James’s special day … and they are some of the NICEST people you will ever meet.
Each aspect of Danielle’s timeline flowed seamlessly from one to the other making the day less hectic and more enjoyable for her, James and their loved ones. It also allowed us to maximize the photo opportunities (*happy dance*). And, at the end of the day, I had over 600 favorites from their wedding for this blog! Do you know how difficult it was to whittle down the photos for this post?
But, I digress.
Danielle’s father and step-mother flew from their home in Israel to be here for this momentous occasion. It was heartwarming to see the families together, as well as the love and joy radiating from their faces as Danielle and James said “I do.” Danielle’s father even incorporated several Jewish traditions and prayers into the ceremony for the couple.
Family and friends embraced the inner silliness and made sure to pose for photos making their best “ugly faces.” They really did have some of the best we’ve ever seen!
The breathtaking reception décor incorporated preserved tree trunk pieces from Danielle’s family’s yard, fresh flowers and candles. Guests were treated to favors of succulent plants and homemade beef jerky. The cupcakes were delicious (the lemon blueberry was Lindsay’s fav!) as was the reception food. In fact, we may or may not have eaten a lot of macaroni and cheese and summer salad with poppyseed dressing from the phenomenal Meadow Mountain Catering.
All in all, we really couldn’t have asked for a better day!
